Flame-haired British fashion legend Vivienne Westwood has designed key wardrobe pieces for Miss Piggy in new film Muppets Most Wanted.
Looks include a couture Harris Tweed houndstooth check coat with matching beret and a long silver hand-embroidered floral lace gown but the showstopper is a couture Ivory Court wedding gown.
This news is all kinds of amazing but the big question is: are Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog set to tie the knot at last? Teaser pictures of Miss Piggy in the wedding gown point to yes.
Heres hoping Miss Piggys wedding fortune is better than our other favourite wearing bride, Carrie Bradshaw, who was famously jilted by Mr Big. Still hurts.
When asked to comment Miss Piggy confirmed that she is thrilled with the dress but added to our ambivalence about the likelihood of a smooth running wedding day by hinting at the Frogs reservations:
Vivienne Westwood is fabulousjust like moi, said Miss Piggy. When I asked her to design this wedding dress for mois new movie Muppets Most Wanted, she was thrilled and I was thrilled. The only one a bit iffy about it was the Frog.
However, should Miss Piggy find herself lonely at the alter at least shell have the shoulder of Muppets Most Wanted co-star Tom Hiddleston to cry on. Could be worse
