Gossip Girl is still only mid-season in the USA – but that doesn’t stop us getting ahead of ourselves and wanting to know what’s happening to our overdressed but still lovable Manhattan friends.
Alexa Chung – that’s what’s happening. She filmed the episode where she played herself (but having to model in some kind of catwalk scenario) back in August, and now it’s been released.
A kindly YouTube user has posted a clip from the episode in question so take a look and decide whether Alexa is soon to add 'actress' to model and presenter on her CV. Although the specifics of the plot may have required a bit more backstory than we were able to catch up on this morning, Alexa’s one-liner – ‘There’s no way in hell I’m going out there’ – is pretty understandable, especially when you see what she's wearing.
