In the case of Chloe Moretz , the answer appears to be: wait until you’re older.
‘Here’s the thing,’ she told The Cut at MoMA's Tribute to Pedro Almodóvar party. ‘I'm 14, and I think if I do a campaign now, I wouldn’t have any time when I’m older to do anything else. If I do it at 14, what am I going to do when I’m 19 or 20? I have to give myself room to spread my wings and grow up and become a young woman.’
Warming to her theme of good sense and age-appropriate decisions, Moretz added, ‘I don’t want to use it all up at one point. I want to really try and make the most of it and ride my wave as much as I can.’
Moretz said all of these things, by the way, whilst wearing Chanel ... just like every other 14-year-old out there. Right?
