WHY IT WORKS...
This is a masterclass from Nicky Hilton in letting your accessories do all the talking; take a look at her outfit - black skinny jeans, grey T-shirt and black blazer. Classic, yes, sophisticated, definitely, but a touch plain. However, Nicky's transformed from basic to brilliant with a few well placed Chanel accessories. Channeling a decidedly Gallic vibe, her bag is an undisputed classic, her stripy ballet pumps are super-chic and she's made her outfit look so now with this season's celebrity must-have, a star print scarf. Oversized shades add a certain 'je ne sais quoi' and complete the look.
