Milana Keller is one of the hottest faces – and bodies – on the runway. The mother-of-one tells Avril Mair how even models have body worries
Growing up in Moscow’s greyest suburb, Milana Bogolepova had a dream. She wanted to live in Paris, home to haute couture and the most glamorous capital in the world. A few years later, aged 21, Milana Keller, as she is now known, has that fantasy Parisian apartment, a French husband, a baby daughter, a Gucci contract and a reputation as the hottest blonde in town.
Although her classic ‘from obscurity to everywhere’ story begins with Elite’s Model Search contest when she was 16, Milana’s career only took off post-pregnancy, three years ago. Armed with a new confidence to complement her beauty, Milana’s first season saw her modelling exclusively for Calvin Klein in New York. Chanel, Dior, Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton shows followed, then the coveted Gucci campaign. ‘I didn’t know everyone doesn’t get to do these things,’ she says, like a girl who still can’t quite believe her luck.
