Gwyneth Paltrow's new shoe addiction

Gwyneth Paltrow

With an invigorated sense of style Gwyneth Paltrow has been everywhere this week, and showing off some serious, statement shoes.

From NY to Paris and Berlin, Gwyneth is currently promoting her new film Iron Man, and has shaken off the yummy mummy style we've been used to of late to rock up in some seriously chic ensembles. In particular it's Gwyneth's statement shoes that have caught our attention at ELLE and we're loving each and every pair ( as well as giving top fashion marks for endurance in such vertiginous heels). Click here now to see Gwyneth's week in style and her new found shoe fetish.

Madonna reveals her secrets for looking good on tour

Madonna's Sweet and Sticky world tour kicks off in Cardiff on Saturday. And just days before the big night her team have released the finer details of what it takes to get Madonna show ready.

This year she'll be using Shu Uemura eye-lash curlers - three pairs to be exact, four YSL lipsticks, 180 ear buds (that's a ration of three per night), 200 triangle sponges to apply her make-up and 120 powder puffs.

She's going to have eight major costume changes during the show, as we revealed last month, everyone from Givenchy's Ricardo Tisci to Miu Miu have contributed exclusive designs - and it's going to take five people to get her in and out of them. They, along with the 12 seamstresses on hand for final adjustments.

Madge has also revealed that she's specially sourced 100 pairs of old - fashioned fishnet stockings from everywhere from dance studios world wide to eBay...to wear under the 100 pairs of knee pads she is also taking on the road.

In true Madonna style she'll be revisitng many of her previous incarnations including 'old-school Madonna', 'gypsy Madonna', 'rave Madonna' and this year's 'sweet and sticky' Madonna to name just a few.

It promises to be quite a show!
