Who Wore What This Week
Diane Kruger was our favourite fashion plate this week managing to pull off a crop-top beautifully with a high-waist trouser and boater, while Pixie Geldof kept the 1980s references alive in summery pale denim and very-this-week ankle socks. Meanwhile in the US, stars such as Jessica Biel are already showcasing the new autumn trends. Embrace fashion’s schizophrenia while you can!

Summer may be over here in Britain but in Venice the red carpet was awash with sunshine, and stars for the 65th Venice Film Festival.
George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Tilda Swinton were in town to premier their latest film, Burn After Reading, by Oscar winning writer/directors Joel and Ethan Coen.
Claudia Schiffer joined them on the red carpet in a stunning Alberta Ferretti dress, accessorised with Chopard jewels and the designer Mrs Ferretti herself.
Brad's adopted sons, Maddox and Pax were also in town with their dad and arrived in Venice by boat along with George Clooney, however there has been no sign of Angelina, or their new born baby twins.
