Leather panelling has been a street style staple this season and made a notable showing in New York; as did voluminous, ankle length trousers, boxy, mannish tailored over coats and capes. When it came to texture, it was all about the tactile; with fur trimming hoods and gilets, and heavy, rough wools adding surface interest, and all important warmth.
