Last year The Architecture Foundation launched a competition calling all engineers to help design a cinema for East London’s waterways – twelve months later, that ship is about to set sail. It all kicks off from July 27 and will feature a programme of outdoor screenings, canal tours, workshops and events bobbing along a Hackney canal. Book now to avoid missing the boat…

Every summer, the City of London festival brings an array of music, dance, art, film and street events to venues across the city. This year, the festival returns with a huge range of events based on three connected themes: city walls, trees and conflict and resolution.
