'But three years later, I am way more laid back about what I post.  I'm not bothered about what people think of my profile and just bung on whatever grabs me there and then – it's much more spontaneous.  My current pic was taken by the lovely Stephanie Smith at this year's ELLE Style Awards and despite my formal wear it feels candid and honest.  As soon as I saw it I knew it had to be my profile pic.  I was hoping to update it with something more summery but there's fat chance of that with all this rain!'

'I was a latecomer to Facebook, essentially bullied into joining up by my sister, Kate.  Back then I was far more concerned about the image I was projecting and spent ages trawling through my snaps to find the one that was most "me".  I duly clung to that image for ages.'
