Kate Moss chose it as her hen destination and Kings of Leon , Kasabian and Pulp were among those to play, but what did the best dressed wear to cope with the Isle of Wight festival’s extreme weather conditions? Saturday’s sunshine attracted a lot of shorts and vests, with the (mass-worn) accessory staple, the floral garland. But sensible country clubbers carried a pac-a-mac with their Hunter wellies to prepare for the downpours. Note how no pictures were taken on either Friday or Sunday? Newport became a sea of mud and nylon on those days. Still, have a look through the sunny day hits here...
