‘For me style is about story telling. I’m super inspired by early cinema, and costumes that are really important to the narrative. I like doing that with my clothes – knowing this dress is from Notting Hill or this is from a vintage store in Istanbul. I like shopping in vintage stores but not just in London, in the Middle East too. I get a lot of stuff from a friend of mine who has a crazy vintage warehouse in downtown Cairo.’
