One Festival, two cities, and myriad sunshine revellers makes for some prime street style snapping, and we made the most of it at Primavera Sound, held two weekends ago in Barcelona and last weekend in Porto.
The best thing about Primavera? Swap wellies and warm beer for strappy sandals, margaritas and tapas on a cobbled street, and you can see why English people flock to the festival. Add in a line up that includes The Cure, Björk, Justice and Death Cab For Cutie, and you wonder why we bother with British field-fests at all.
The tale of two cities showed a few notable sartorial differences: girls hanging at the pier in Barcelona opted for breezy maxi lengths and pared back classic styles, while the Portuguese city hummed with playsuits, fringing and big, bold patterns. Legs and torsos were bare (sigh) and cross-body bags were the failsafe accessory.
Next year, we’ll see you by the sangria stand...
