Barcelona is no stranger to uber-hip festivals; Primavera took place last month, but the one everyone gets excited about in the city is Sonar. Dance fans from across Europe gather in the heart of the old town by day and in a converted airport hanger by night to party, socialise and look good. Topping the bill was MIA, Underworld and Magnetic Man, with sets from Janelle Monae, Dizzie Rascal and A-Trak. Denim cut-offs are still the festival fan's item of choice, teamed with pumps, T-shirts and Ray-Bans - and not a Hunter or a flowery head band in sight.
