Drosophyla Bar

The walls of this peculiarly inviting bar are covered in memories and artefacts belonging to the eccentric owners – including retro underwear ads in the men’s loo. Set in an oriental style starlit garden, just off Rua Augusta in the center of the city, it’s the perfect place to kick back with a cocktail.

Bar do Armando

In the heart of the action, and with epic views of Manaus’ famous Opera house, this place gets rammed early evening with both locals and tourists. One of the best in town for more than 40 years, they’re famous for having the coldest beer and the most delicious sandwiches.

Toca do morcego

If you are lucky enough to find yourself on the beautiful party island of Morro de Sao Paulo, Toca Do Morcego is a must for sunset cocktails. This chill out bar is right on the hill on the way up to the lighthouse and has epic views across the whole island. If you’re looking for more than just a cocktail or two, then head down late on a Friday when Toca do morcego transforms into a pumping club.
