RESTAURANTS

Jack’s Wife Freda

This Mecca of the fashion community is a Soho lunch staple with the best chicken and Greek salads in the world. There are more beautiful people in this lovely Greek restaurant than we thought existed in the world, and if you manage to make it to the front of the queue we can guarantee the homey atmosphere and haloumi side dish will make it all worth it.

Jack’s Wife Freda, 224 Lafayette St, - (212) 510-8550

Egg Shop

The best thing about the Egg Shop is that you can get away with going there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And after trying their poached egg, miso quinoa and avocado salad bowl, we can pretty much guarantee you’re going to want to make a stop-off at this Soho hotspot for every single meal.

Egg Shop, 151 Elizabeth St, 646) 666-0810, eggshopnyc.com/

 The Meatball Shop

If you fancy turning your back on anyone who suggests one must only eat salad during fashion week, head over to The Meatball Shop. This West Village foodie destination restaurant only serves meatballs but boy does it serve them well. Pick your meat, pick your sauce, pop in a side of mashed potato and you’re anti-fashion week meal is complete.

The Meatball Shop, 64 Greenwich Ave, (212) 982-7815

Brunch at the Gemma

The greatest post-fashion week brunch for anyone a bit tired, a bit hungover and a bit hungry. The fluffy French toast is what we imagine the floors of heaven are coated with, and whatever you order will be extremely Instagrammable.
Gemma at The Bowery, 335 Bowery, 212 505 9100

Oatmeals
The perfect spot for breakfast before running around all day asking other people in fashion how their summer was. It only serves oatmeal but has more toppings than you thought were possible to put on what is essentially just fancy porridge.
Oatmeals, 120 W 3rd St, (646) 360-3570

The Deep End Club

Started by It Girl Tennessee Thomas, The Deep End Club is the coolest vintage clothing shop in the East Village. The shop feels more like a clubhouse, a welcome rest spot for anyone with a fondness for a secondhand sailor dress or some furry boots. They host regular parties and events and just walking through their doors will guarantee much needed fashion week cool points.
The Deep End Club, 156 1st Ave, East Village, - (646)559-0223

BAR

Videology

If watching nothing but parades of dresses and shirts for a week has got you missing your regular Netflix fix, take a break from the fashion crowd and head into Williamsburg for Arrested Development Bingo at bar/video rental shop Videology. The Brooklyn hotspot hosts a weekly bingo night where you play bingo to Arrested Development and get a free drink or frozen banana for every winning row. It is the perfect place to show off the plaid twinset you ordered from Asos in a wave of nostalgia but never quite got the confidence to wear.
Videology. 308 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, -(718) 782-3468

Up & Down
The hottest club in fashion week, Up & Down sees the likes of Kendall Jenner after-partying here. The choice of house music downstairs or hip-hop upstairs ensures a good night for everyone.

Boom Boom Room

If you’re looking for phenomenal views and beautiful lighting, go to Boom Boom Room in the Standard Hotel, where Michael Kors celebrated his after-party. And check out the loo – it will be the coolest view you’ll ever entertain yourself with while in the bathroom.

Boom Boom Room, 848 Washington St, (212) 645-4646

Acme
The beautiful crowds at Acme will make you feel at ease if you want to wear a hat indoors or sky- high stilettos. This underground bar gives off a sexy, fashion-week vibe.
