Little Nell, Aspen, Colorado, Aspen

If money is no object and you want a little star-spotting with your skiing, Aspen is the place. The Colorado town is favourite with A-listers from Goldie Hawn to Heidi Klum and J-Lo. With four mountains to ski on, for every level of skier, there's plenty to choose from, and even better - a 'ski valet' will transfer your gear from one mountain to the next overnight, so no lugging around heavy skis and struggling in uncomfy boots. Genius. There's also plenty to keep non-skiers happy, from gorgeous spas to shopping galore at Prada, Fendi, Ralph Lauren or Moncler. The town is also home to more gourmet restaurants that you can sample in a week including the likes of Nobu and the sleek Eight K at the very glitzy Viceroy hotel. To ski-in/ski-out, book into the legendary Little Nell, that sits in prime position right at the foot of the slopes. The glam hotel, which famously turned Paris Hilton away because it was too full, comes with stylish rooms, spot-on service and delicious truffle fries at their restaurant: the Ajax Tavern.
