Tonight it's Street Feast at Merchant Yard on Kingsland Road, where I'll drink at least two too many Rotary Margaritas (made with tequila and mescal for a more smoky flavour). Street Feast is Britain's best street food gathering and it's in Hackney every Friday till the end of June. I'll have Fish Tacos from Luardos, http://luardos.co.uk, and ice cream from Sorbitium, www.sorbitiumices.com, or I might treat myself to six courses of wonder-kid chef Ben Spalding's refined street food dining @. Last week, my favourite course was treacle-cured salmon and cornflakes, and it was FANTASTIC.

After Street Feast closes at midnight, I'll head up to The Haggerston in Dalston, http://thehaggerston.com, for a nightcap. Saturday is Maltby Street Market, @MaltbyStMkt - aka the Ropewalk. This is a great place to spend the whole day drinking Little Bird Gin cocktails, eating fantastic jamon from Bar Tozino, http://www.bartozino.com/, and devouring delicious waffles from Waffle On, @WaffleOnMarkets . Get a breakfast one if you're hungover, or hang on for a morello cherry and marscarpone version. Maltby is a smaller, cooler version of Borough Market - think locals, not tourists.

Who can resist The Gos?

On Sunday, I might head to Brawn on Columbia Road, www.brawn.co, for their brilliant set Sunday lunch: three courses for £25, including roast chicken and rhubarb mess - or something similarly delicious. Wander around the flower market first.

And what sort of a weekend would it be without Ryan Gosling? I might have to give in and go see The Place Beyond The Pines.
