My afternoon is spent in East London at the Truman Brewery, where I've taken a studio / garage space with Ronzo , a good friend and local East London artist. We're turning the space into a motorbike workshop/studio where we not only work but also host visitors and  friends, run seminars and keep it as a place where our friends will occasionally work on their motorbikes. It's due to launch any day now, so we've been spending a lot of time doing the finishing touches.

Already East, I jump on my '78 Honda CB750 for a ride and check in at our newest cocktail bar, Joyeux Bordel , above (147 Curtain Road, London, EC2A 3QE, 07599 885001), where we've just launched our autumn menu, before heading home to get ready for a dinner out. I'll often go to Clove Club, below (380 Old Street, London, EC1V 9LT, 020 7729 6496) for a quick bite at the bar. It's one of my favourite places in London, so much so that we've enlisted owners Daniel Willis and his brother Sam, to consult on our music programme at Joyeux Bordel. Daniel is a great DJ separately from the Clove Club and Sam is in A&R at R&S records

After dinner, I often do a tour around the area, dropping in at  Happiness Forgets (8-9 Hoxton Street, London N1 6NU), as well as the The Lobby Bar at Ace Hotel (100 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6JQ, 020 7613 9800, acehotel.com) Original Sin (129 Stoke Newington High Street, London, N16 0PH, 020 7241 4148) and Satan's Whiskers (343 Cambridge Heath Road, London, E2 9RA, 020 7739 8362) before heading back to Joyeux Bordel where Daniel Willis will be playing some old school tunes from his vintage vinyl selection. The DJs change regularly so there will always be someone different to discover.

Saturday

With work to do on the bikes, it's back to Truman Brewery in the morning where I spend the day knowing the emails won't be flowing. Around lunchtime, I walk over to Son of a Stag (9 Dray Walk, 91 Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL, 020 7247 3333), where my dear friends Rudy & Linda stock some of the best in Japanese denim in the UK. I love hanging out in their shop; Rudy is a source of all knowledge when it comes to the history of denim, and there are always interesting people in their store.

Sometimes my business partner, Pierre-Charles Cros, and I will head to the West End to check in at our bars Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, above  (8-10 Neal's Yard, London, WC2H 9DP, 020 7734 7737) for a champagne apero, I have a soft spot for Agrapart and Champagne Jacquesson, two great houses of champagne doing fantastic work.

Later we'll go for cocktails at Experimental Cocktail Club Chinatown, above (13 Gerrard Street, London, W1D 5PS). In between the two, we'll catch up over dinner at Palomar (34 Rupert Street, London W1D 6DN, 020 7439 8777) and say hi to the team at the Artesian (The Langham, Portland Place, London W1B 1JA, 020 7636 1000), a great spot where Alex and the guys have been very supportive having put Vulson, the Alpine Rye I launched last year with the Domaine des Hautes glaces, on their new cocktail menu.

Too many cocktails later, we're likely to pop into Bar Italia (22 Frith Street, London, W1D 4RF, 02074374520) for a cheeky sandwich before calling it a night.

Sunday

Finally, a day of rest. I catch up with friends over a long brunch at 8 Hoxton Square, above  (8 Hoxton Square, London, N1 6NU, 02077294232) (hello, bacon sandwich) before taking a long walk back via Columbia Road. The best days there are the rainy days where you can avoid some of the crowds. My afternoon is spent catching up on a few emails and resting up for a crazy week ahead.
