Vaude Badawi Long Tent

The six-man Vaude Badawi is the perfect luxury tent for the lavish festival-goer - or just for taking a big group of friends on a camping trip. Instead of being squished up in small compartments, the Vaude Badawi makes the most of its space, as the inner tent has been turned 90 degrees, so that everyone can sleep lengthways (tall members of the party can breathe a sigh of relief...). There are also extra pockets for storage, a huge communal inner area and plenty of extra tent floor space. And if the heavy rains do return, you’ll be safe in the knowledge you’ll stay nice and dry, as the tent has a water column of 3,000mm and a very comfortable interior room climate.

Vango Kasari 800

More of a house than a tent, the Vango 800 is perfect for groups of friends. The spacious three sleeping areas can be zipped in a number of ways to create different bedroom combinations, all of which feature Vango black-out fabrics which are ideal for keeping out the morning sun. Plus the spacious living area is big enough for a table and chairs.

Vango AirBeam Infinity 600

There’s no messing about with fiddly tent poles and pegs with the Vango Airbeam, as it’s completely inflatable. The Infinity 600 sleeps six comfortably in spacious bedrooms and comes with ‘zip out’ mesh windows. With a pitching time of just four minutes (during which time you can just just sit back, put your feet up and watch), the Airbeam takes (most) of the stress out of camping.

Vaude Blue One 2P Tent

Few camping scenarios are much worse than waking up at 5am with the sun beating down on a sweaty tent. The gorgeous Vaude Blue One has gone and changed all that - it’s made from completely ecologically friendly materials (recycled polyester and organic cotton), meaning that the tent keeps an ideal microclimate, and lets you sleep almost as naturally as if you were sleeping under the stars.

Field Candy

So, the Olympics may be over but we’re going to be carrying on the patriotic spirit with this brilliant luxury tent from Field Candy. We love the digitally printed Union Jack, and the fact that we’d pick this out a mile off in a sea of generic black polyester. The tent has an 'A' frame construction to weather the most extreme of climates (or hardiest of festivals...) and comes with super-easy to use aluminium alloy poles, and plenty of spare pegs. It has a breathable cotton inner and a very spacious sleeping area. We’re sold.

Price: £495; Stockist info: Fieldcandy.com.
