Labor Day weekend news you can use: Proenza Schouler is reportedly launching a sister collection sometime in November, WWD reports. While some brands create secondary lines at lower price points and call them "diffusion"—think GREY Jason Wu, T by Alexander Wang, and See by Chloé—the Proenza Schouler spin-off is meant to be thought of more as a peer to the original. Which would make sense given the current trend to shutter diffusion lines.

WWD reports the collection is likely to be called "White Label" and may be spearheaded by Elizabeth Giardina of Derek Lam 10 Crosby, who joined the Proenza Schouler team in January. The line is said to feature basics like t-shirts and denim. Which (and maybe we're dating ourselves here) will be great news for fans of the fiendishly popular Proenza Schouler for Target collection back in '07.
