The three dimensional, sculptural, petal-covered gown, teamed with ruby and diamond rings and a pair of DSquared2 lace-up heels, saw RiRi topping her 2015 red carpet-winning look (who can forget that yellow fur cape from Chinese couturist, Guo Pei), even if we're still not quite sure what those suit of armour-inspired things are hanging down from her hips.

Last week, a Twitter post showed an adorable RiRi fan wearing her own Comme des Garçons-inspired creation with the help of a little PVA glue and scissors. She even copied Rihanna's sleek top knot hairstyle with a side-parted fringe. So chic.

Or, as Rihanna would say: 'Phresh out the runway.'

And it appears Twitter couldn't agree more.

Give it 20 years and you never know, this Rihanna mini-me might be giving the star a run for her money on the Met Gala red carpet. We're seeing big Project Runway potential.
