The Best Runway Returns At The SS24 Shows

By Naomi Pike

New York to London, Milan to Paris, the spring/summer 2024 catwalks were filled with fresh sartorial ideas to get us rethinking our wardrobes for the seasons ahead. And while all eyes are on the clothes, ready to understand the forward-looking vision from our favourite designers, there's always just as much intrigue in the cast that are chosen to embody these new collections.

Spring/summer 2024 saw something of a redux of names, with a line-up of familiar faces from decades past returning to the runway and met with much celebration and enthusiasm for this nostalgia from those on the front row. From Agyness Deyn (yes, really!) to the majestic presence of Debra Shaw, here are the faces we loved to see once again.

The original Miu Miu girl who was chosen by Mrs Prada to star in the brands's earliest campaigns pledged her allegiance once more at the spring/summer 2024 show, having last walked at a show in 2017.

The enigmatic catwalk presence of Shaw was a treat to witness once again, appearing on the catwalk at Feben during London Fashion Week, as well as at Moschino, Christian Siriano, Nina Ricci, Antonio Marras, Marie Adam-Leenaerdt, Germanier, Christian and Cowan.

Our Aggy hadn't stepped on a catwalk since 2019 so it was a surprise to the see English model make a return at Sacai. Then again, with the return of Indie Sleaze and her position as the face of a movement it all makes timely sense.
