After what seems like an eternity, Beyoncé has finally given birth to a healthy set of twins, E! News and People reports.
The 35-year-old announced the pregnancy in February this year with a photoshoot, rumoured to have been art directed by Los Angeles-based multimedia artist Awol Erizku.
The 'If I Were A Boy' star and her rapper/producer husband, Jay Z, welcomed their new children, weeks after celebrating the end of Queen B's pregnancy with a glamorous, African-themed push party.
The star published several photos from the baby shower with her husband on her Instagram account, with the images labeled 'The Carter Push Party'.
In the candid shots, the new mother – who already has a child, Blue Ivy, with her famous hubby – can be seen dancing with her husband and showing off her bump in the most Sasha Fierce way, ever.
While the twins' gender has not yet been revealed, the arrival has ben a long-awaited gift for the famous couple and fans alike, after months of the Grammy-Award singer posting images of her flawless pregnancy fashion on Instagram, from wearing head-to-toe Gucci to a ruby red, crepe gown by Halston Heritage.
However, the star's pregnancy hasn't been without controversy, with the singer recently making a public statement following accusations of undergoing lip filler injections to plump her pout.
Last month, the singer's representative, Yvette Noel-Schure, released a strongly-worded statement regarding the rumours, asking the haters: 'Did you know that in addition to weight gain there is often a dramatic change in the blood flow in the system and increased fluid causing swelling?
'The sacrifice to our faces, our feet and our entire bodies is something we welcome because we bring beautiful humans into the world who will one day combat your hate and negativity,' she added.
We couldn't be happier for Beyoncé, Jay Z and Blue Ivy welcoming in their new bundles of joy into the Carter-Knowles household.
