You're going to get the chance to travel the world.
To work with fascinating, creative people – and sometimes with assholes.
To taste fame but to be simultaneously scrutinised.
To see your dreams become reality and to see that anything is possible, then to be taught your limits.
To get to act, to make your own films and publish writing.
To learn about economics, politics and technology and to set up businesses. Life is about to become busy, huh?
You are about to go on a journey. The world will open up to you in miraculous, curious and sometimes confusing ways.
You will see its beauty, diversity, possibility and also its ugliness. Enjoy it - it will all pass and change quickly.
You will experience the buzz of success and the hollow carving of failures.
Don't feel guilty or fearful of either.
You will come to know yourself most in moments of pain.
The silver lining to every cloud is a mirror to look into, so embrace all moments.
Even the difficult ones.
Work hard, but not too hard. Be patient, you have time.
Don't compare yourself to others or take anything personally.
Industries are fickle and their affection will wax and wane like the moon.
The only real opinion about your worth that matters is your own.
Really appreciate yourself. You don't need to be more of anything.
Be gentle and kind to yourself. It's alright to want to save the world, but first you must learn to save yourself.
