We didn't think Margot Robbie would ever take on a role that could make the unhinged super-villain Harley Quinn look tame, but here we are.

The Oscar-nominated actress has shared a brand new trailer for her upcoming movie Terminal, and well, it's safe to say that her latest role as a serial killer reaches new sinister heights.

Margot revealed yet another sneak-peek at the Vaughn Stein-directed Terminal on Twitter, telling fans that she had "something different" for them. And she's not bloomin' wrong.

Now we're not saying we couldn't imagine Harley Quinn telling someone she had "an unquenchable bloodlust for darkness", but it all seems a bit more unsettling in an English accent, doesn't it?

We don't know too much about noir thriller Terminal, other than it's expected to hit cinemas in May and stars a pretty impressive cast, including the likes of Simon Pegg and Mike Myers.

The movie, which is directed by Vaughn Stein, follows two assassins on a sinister mission, a seriously ill teacher, an enigmatic janitor and a waitress with a double life.

Fans are told to expect "murderous consequences" when their lives meet at the hands of a criminal mastermind seeking revenge. Our only question is... which one is the criminal mastermind?

Before Terminal hits cinemas to (hopefully) answer all of our questions on May 11, you can catch Margot as the voice of Flopsy Cottontail in Peter Rabbit right now.

And you might be even be able to see her back in Neighbours soon enough. Yes, really.
