However, the question on everyone's lips has been whether the A-list duo welcomed a baby girl or baby boy.

Well, now we can reveal the new parents welcomed a baby girl and have given her the unique name, Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper.

So, what's the inspiration behind the unusual moniker?

According to etymology, 'Lea' is a Greek name meaning 'bringer of good news' which, when you think about it, kind of makes sense.

I mean, it's pretty good news when you find out you're having a baby with Irina Shayk, right?

Meanwhile, 'de Seine' refers to the world's second largest river in France that divides the centre of Paris.

The French-inspired name may derive from Cooper's love of the European country, after he spent six months living with a family in Aix-en-Provence during an exchange programme while he was in college.

The pair – who have been dating since 2015 – have also been spotted on numerous occasions strolling through the centre of Paris, where Bradley was living in the early days of their romance.

Paris really is the City of Love.
