A mere month after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their engagement to the world, Markle's father, Tom Markle, revealed he'd 'love' to walk his youngest daughter down the aisle.

In case you'd forgotten: 36 year-old Markle will be tying the knot at Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel on 19th May.

Now Meghan's half-sister, Samantha Markle Grant, has spoken out about their shared father's determination to walk the future royal down the aisle.

Samantha told Channel 5's The Wright Stuff that Tom Markle would be there come hell or high water.

'Yes he is,' she says. 'God forbid, unless a plane crashes through his roof, he'll be there one way or the other.'

Grant explained to the British host that she has grown tired of tabloid rumours, saying, 'So any rumour to the contrary is... my favourite new word is becoming 'oh rubbish'. Yeah, so he will be there.'

Grant has been criticised for her public discussion of her younger sister; she is also releasing a book called The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister.

In the interview, Grant defends her choice of potentially provocative title, telling Matthew Wright: 'People have taken the title so literally, and I think that's funny,' she said.

'I chose the title because I was more making a mockery of tabloids who, at one point, called my sister Princess Pushy. The opposite is true. And so I thought, you know, to make fun of that and illustrate that she really is not, I'm going to choose that title and run with it.'

Grant has been Tweeting continuously about the press commentary which focuses on her and her sister's relationship, apparently wanting speculation to stop.

Only five months to go, people!
