But thanks to a doo-wop heavy soundtrack, a little magical realism, and a pair of promising leads (Jess Weixler and Thomas Middleditch), we have high hopes for this indie about a guy falling for the girl who was almost his sister.

Courtesy The gist: a Brooklyn couple who've only been with each other test their relationship by sleeping with other people. Dan Stevens and Rebecca Hall play the said sweethearts, and judging from the trailer, something tells us this one's as full of heartbreaking moments as it is comedic ones.

Courtesy Not sure what's more exciting: a first date that doesn't tank or the anticipation for Becky Albertalli's triumph, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, to hit the big screen. Nick Robinson stars as the titular teen in love with an anonymous classmate, and the best part? Jack Antonoff's on soundtrack duty.

'Overboard '
