Today marks the launch of a first-of-its-kind collaboration between V by Very, a brand new collection by the eponymous brand, and the ELLE Fashion Cupboard.
The ELLE Fashion Cupboard will be partnering with Very for the next three months, to bring you tonnes of brilliant styling and shopping content, the ELLE fashion team's edits of the recent in-store and online V by Very drops, plus we'll be running an event where you'll have the chance to meet the team, see our Fashion Cupboard installation and receive a VIP shopping experience.
What to Expect Online
Over the next three months, this new channel on ELLE UK will be full of great fashion, styling and shopping content.
Our fashion team will be picking their hero pieces and showing you how to wear them and you'll be able to shop all of our our edits. So keep an eye out for our 'Shop the Drop' content and our specially dedicated What ELLE Wears X Very gallery.
Our Live Set
To herald the start of our collaboration, we've invited fashion set designer Thomas Bird into the ELLE Fashion Cupboard to create a live set inspired by the V by Very collection and the fashion shoots with ELLE.
Thomas created a bold, geometric set, in which sheets of pastel latex are stretched across the Cupboard and around the styled-up mannequins in sharp, angular lines.
The idea is that it both 'unwraps' the collection and shows a new, dynamic and edgier side to the Very brand.
The subtle colour palette Thomas has chosen to use is designed to allow the garments to stand out against the installation's strong, sculptural lines. It's a theme that will continue into the look and feel of the pop-up store/event, hosted in a few months time.
What to Expect IRL
As well as all our great online content, we'll be hosting a live event, where you can head down to meet the ELLE and Very teams, to get some stellar discounts and styling advice, while Blonde Ambition hits the decks.
The event will take place on November 19, between 10am and 8/9pm, in Central London.
