Ashlee Simpson married actor Evan Ross (star of the upcoming films The Hunger Games: Mockingjay parts 1 and 2) in a private ceremony yesterday. The couple were first spotted out publicly in July 2013, and announced their engagement in January.
While Ashlee's big sister Jessica Simpson was her maid of honour, Evan won this round of famous families. The wedding took place at the Connecticut home of his mother, Diana Ross – who also officiated the ceremony, E! News reports. We've even heard a rumour that the Motown legend sang for them, and she'd certainly have enough love songs to choose from in the Supremes back-catalogue.
Continuing the family theme, Ashlee was walked down the aisle by her five-year-old son Bronx Wentz, from her first marriage, to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz. We've yet to see the dress she chose second-time-around, but her Neil Lane jewellery was chosen to compliment her engagement ring by the designer.
