1. Howard Donald got married

Take That’s Howard Donald married Katie Halil in a small private ceremony last Friday, followed by a much bigger celebration the following day at Aynhoe Park, a stately home in the Cotswolds. Guests included his bandmates, as well as ex-member Jason Orange.

‘Howard looked extremely happy with his bride Katie at his side amongst their guests. There were about 140 people there – it was a kicking do until at least 1.30am,’ a guest told the Daily Mirror.

The 46-year-old star met his illustrator wife in 2008 while filming a Marks & Spencer Christmas advert, but the couple did not begin dating until 2010.

2. The rumour mill says Eva Longoria got married too

Ring the alarm: The actress was spotted in Beverly Hills on Monday wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger. She also posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a long white dress on New Year's Eve, while holidaying with her beau Antonio Baston.

The couple have been dating for almost a year and spent the Christmas break together on a romantic trip to the Caribbean.

Coincidence - or have they officially tied the knot?

3. Previously reported:

Stephen Fry confirmed this morning that he is engaged to 27-year-old comedian Elliott Spencer.

‘Oh. It looks as though a certain cat is out of a certain bag. I’m very very happy of course but had hoped for a private wedding. Fat chance!' he joked on Twitter.

He added: ‘Thank you all SO much for your kind congratulations. Deeply touched xxx.’

The actor has long been an advocate of same-sex marriage and was today spotted wearing an engagement ring.

‘The only deal is they have to be HUGE fans,' Gary tweeted. 'All you have to do is stalk me on here.’

The Take That star says he gets thousands of requests to sing at weddings every week. Go!
