Styling the look and feel of my wedding is proving to be a real highlight of the planning so far. Inspiration is everywhere and in these hyper-styled vintage-fatigued wedding times, there’s no shortage of cool and quirky suppliers ready to indulge my passion for all things offbeat and eclectic.

This weekend, I’ll be entering the lion’s den, as I head off to explore A Most Curious Wedding Fair.

Taking place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April at The Old Truman Brewery, East London, it’s angling for creative couples with big ideas, and promises to be fun, fresh and ahead-of-the-curve. Not your average conveyor-belt wedding fair then.

There’s 70 exhibitors in all, seeking to tick off every aspect of your day, from dresses and accessories to venues, food and entertainment. As for me, I’ll be making a beeline for floral designers Love Blooms, cult cake baker , accessories and props designer Comeuppance, and artisan ale producer Little Brew.

A Most Curious Wedding Fair takes place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of April 2013. Tickets £3 advance (see website) or £4 on the door.
