It was confirmed in June that Olivier Theyskens had stepped down from his long-standing role at the helm of Theory and he's been pretty quiet on his future plans - until this weekend, that is, when he unveiled a seriously incredible wedding dress design.

The designer was commissioned to create the dream gown for Nellie Diamond, the 25-year-old daughter of former Barclays boss Bob.

The no-expense-spared society event - which was held at the Hôtel Du Cap-Eden-Roc, in Antibes, France, and organised by the planner behind Kate and Wills' nuptials - called for something dramatic, and Theyskens didn't disappoint.

The resulting strapless princess dress was made of 35 meters of silk and featured a sweetheart neckline and was feather embroidery - plus, of course, a train measuring 15 feet.

Although Nellie changed into something somewhat less cumbersome for dancing, she was obviously over the moon with Theysken's contribution to her big day, writing simply on Instagram herself: 'Olivier, I love you. Thank you.'

Olivier Theyskens Bridal, coming soon? Say it's so.
