Sophie married Nathan on 2 February 2013 in Somerset. Nathan proposed at Ashton Court in Bristol - one of Sophie’s favourite places - after 6 years together. They originally set the date of the wedding for 8 November 2012 but after Sophie fell pregnant, moved it to the following February, after the baby was born. The bride decided to walk down the aisle by herself and, as their wedding was to be a real mix of the traditional and not-so traditional, chose a song that reflected this: Rob Dougan’s ‘Clubbed to Death’ remix of Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variation.
Having a baby at our wedding hadn't been the original plan, but it made the day all the more special having our son Theo there with us.

We decided to keep the decor simple and romantic. As our wedding was a winter one with a late ceremony time, we opted for candles, LED-lit lanterns and simple roses to set the scene.
