This past weekend, Wonder Woman officially opened in theaters and smashed box office records, becoming an instant superhero-sized success. Gal Gadot kicks a tremendous amount of ass in the film, so we were curious as to what the 31-year-old mother of two actually eats in a day to maintain her superhero status.

She wants to teach her daughters to eat right, and so, they start with a filling, healthy breakfast.

In addition to starting the day with eggs, fruit, and coffee, the actress makes sure her little girls know how important it is for them to eat healthy too. Like mother, like daughters!

"I want to know that what she [her 5-year-old daughter Alma] feeds her body does her good," Gadot told Marie Claire UK. "We make smoothies in the morning with parsley, celery, green apples and ginger – basically, we throw in whatever we have."

She makes sure her snacks follow her good habits.

Even superheroes aren't immune to late-night snack cravings! However, Gadot makes sure to snack healthy, and often munches on fresh fruits, veggies, and avocado toast.

She knows the importance of protein and veggies.

"I eat a lot of fish and chicken, and I make sure that around 30-40% of our family diet is made of cooked or raw vegetables," the 31-year-old told Marie Claire UK.

She doesn't restrict herself for indulging.

It seems that not even Wonder Woman can resist cheat meals! But, while Gadot doesn't restrict herself from eating the likes of burgers, ice cream, or chocolate, she knows it's all about portion control so she can eat what she wants.

"I'm a foodie and I love to experience food, but at the same time I look at food as fuel and I want to give the best to my body," she previously told Harper's Bazaar. " I don't restrict myself, I can eat everything. It's all a matter of measurements and quantity of the food. Just give the food the respect and give yourself the respect to enjoy it."

She drinks water to balance her system.

After her two-year required stint in the Israeli Defense Forces and her reign as Miss Israel, Gadot knows that it takes a lot of work to maintain her figure.

"I try to eat healthy," she told E! Online. "But sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That's good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water."
