Ariana Grande has a legion of young fans who look up to her in innumerable ways.

Thankfully, 24 year-old Grande is a more-than amazing role model, speaking her mind, practising feminism and giving to others who need it most.

On Wednesday, the singer was celebrating her new partnership with Reebok in Hong Kong when she opened up about her hopes for her fans.

Grande has a very close relationship with her mother, Joan Grande, and she explained what her mother taught her growing up.

Hello Giggles reports she said, 'That's what my mom would tell me as a kid: 'We love you. No one cares if you gain or lose however many pounds...You're healthy, you're alive, you are loved…whatever weight you are, whatever situation it is, whether you have a breakout, whatever it is.'

Grande says she has a 'motherly attachment' to her fans and therefore wants to share her own mother's message to her, to them. 'I just want them to love themselves so much,' she said.

When asked what message she would want to say to her young body-conscious followers:

I think the thing that I want to instill in them most is [the message that] you are loved, and there are so many different kinds of beautiful. You are beautiful today if you have 10 cupcakes, and beautiful tomorrow if you do a juice cleanse. You're beautiful because of who you are.

Hear, hear.
