Having shot to fame for championing body confidence among women, British model Iskra Lawrence shows no sign of stopping on her mission to promote self-love and self-confidence across the world.

And, if there's one piece of advice the 26-year-old would like share to women who are struggling with their own sense of self-acceptance – whether that be with their bodies, or capabilities – it's to give up on the pursuit of perfection.

Speaking at tonight's ELLE Style Awards, she said: 'It makes life so much easier when you realise it's not just about being perfect.'

'It's the fact we're all different and have those things that make us unique that make us beautiful,' she added.

Iskra's celebration of diversity comes days after she walked for Christian Siriano's AW17 New York Fashion Week show.

Opening up about the show, she revealed: 'It was really special to me – as someone who never thought I'd be able to do New York Fashion Week and be on the catwalk because of my size.

'For him to use ten curvier models and also a diversity in colour, it was just really beautiful. A true celebration of women,' she continued.
