Back in June, before news of Hiddleswift and Kanye-Taylor gate broke the internet, we were all-consumed by the fact 94-year-old fashion extraordinaire Iris Apfel was launching her own line of custom emojis.

Following the success of her 2015 Albert Maysles-directed documentary Iris, the style guru has finally released a range of emojis, stickers and GIFs inspired by her signature quotes and items from her collection Iris Meets I.N.C. collection at Macy's.

The fashion icon says: 'I'm a little old for emojis, and I didn't know what they were.

'But everyone seems to like them, and I want everyone to have a good time. If my face makes people happy, I'm all for it.'

Iris, we are very happy.

Apfel – who previously worked for Women's Wear Daily and was the go-to interior designer to nine presidents for the White House – boasts a range of colorful emojis ranging from cocktails, makeup, cupcakes, accessories and Apfel-inspired faces.

Nancy Slavin, senior vice president of marketing for Macy's Merchandising Group says:

'She's an icon whose appeal spans multiple generations, and we see these emojis as a fun way to amplify the campaign through mobile first. Her fans are going to go crazy!'

That we are!

Apfel's emojis are available now for download on Apple iTunes and Google Play now.
