Adele Dedicates Madison Square Concert To Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie

Listen to an Adele song and you will undoubtably start thinking about an ex. 

Fact. 

It doesn't matter who you are or how your last relationship ended, the 28-year-old is like a witchcraft of emotion, using her poignant words to invade your subconscious and make you view previous relationships as if you were watching a montage from The Notebook. 

(Note to self: That time you were arguing in the rain with your ex did not look anything like when Rachel McAdams jumped into Ryan Gosling's arms. Period.)

But last night, the Hello singer directed her heartfelt words towards a celebrity couple, currently going through the turmoil of a divorce – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Last night, during her second concert at Madison Square Garden, the Brit star told the sell-out crowd the A-list break-up marked an 'end of an era'.

'I need to address the elephant in the room,' she added.

Adele went onto say how she felt it was the right moment to reflect on the couples 12-year relationship, especially as she was playing 'two hours of misery'.

We hear you, Adele. We hear you.
