The jig on wooden floor boards in third class. The bite of a bread roll and swig of champagne at dinner. The sweaty hand on the car window. The rip of a frozen, handcuffed hand as Rose fights for her life.
You need only close your eyes to remember the first time you sat down to watch the 1998 romantic blockbuster. Not only was it a mega cinematic feat, the film taught us the importance of breaking down socioeconomic barriers, trusting your heart and not being blasé about icebergs. Or, very importantly, to not be the idiot who throws 'the heart of the ocean' onto the sea.

However, the most enduring and memorable momento we took away from James Cameron's tragedy was the on and off-screen chemistry between Oscar-winners Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, who have long been standing by each other's sides, singing each other's praises and laughing together on the red carpet for nearly 20 years.

Ahead of her role in the upcoming film The Mountain Between Us, Winslet admitted to E! News her BFF gave her some advice about working in extreme temperatures, following his role as frontiersman Hugh Glass in The Revenant.
'[Leonardo and I] did speak before filming and he did sort of say to me, "Oh my god, you are crazy. It's going to be freezing cold. Do you honestly know what you are setting yourself up for?"' she admitted.

When they walked the red carpet together for the very first time
For the premiere Titantic on 17 December 1998, Leo and Kate shone on the red carpet together. This was prior to knowing James Cameron's film would spend a staggering 15 consecutive weeks at the top of the box-office charts - a record it held until Cameron's Avatar knocked it off the spot in 2009.
The pair then looked positively adorable at the 55th Annual Golden Globe Awards, where they were both nominated for Best Actor and Actress and went as each other's dates.
