Having just touched down in London to spend time with her royal boyfriend, Prince Harry, we have a feeling Meghan Markle is currently in the throes of overcoming jet lag, unpacking her suitcase, and catching up on missed episodes of Love Island.

However, one thing we're pretty sure the 35-year-old actress won't be best pleased to learn now she's in Blighty is that her private life risks being exposed in a new television show.

A representative from Channel 4 has told ELLE UK that the documentary will be made by production company Renegade Pictures and will be titled Meet The Markles.

The hour-long programme will tell the story of Meghan's childhood in Los Angeles, including her role as a spokeswoman for various charities including One Young World.

It will also use genealogical research to trace her ancestry, look into how Prince Harry and Meghan first met, and the Suits star's possible future in the Royal Family.

The news comes months after the Mail Online reported the Suits actress' estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant, is writing a 'tell all' book in which she details what it was like growing up with Markle as a child, amid Twitter posts calling her talk of philanthropic endeavours as 'cheap' and accusing her of having a lack of 'basic human consideration'.

In a personal essay written exclusively for ELLE UK last year, Markle detailed the pressures of being a celebrity, admitting: 'With fame comes opportunity, but it also includes responsibility.'

You don't say, Meghan.
