Less than a month after jetting off to Africa to celebrate Meghan Markle's 36th birthday where Prince Harry was rumoured to have asked for the actress' hand in marriage, the A-list couple are reportedly planning to make their first public appearance together after over a year of dating.

The Daily Mail reports the 32-year-old and his Suits star girlfriend will reportedly step out in front of the public together at the Invictus Games in Toronto on 23 September.

Sources say an official announcement from Kensington Palace is imminent and, let's face it, we're kind of hoping the public appearance won't be the only thing the Palace wants to inform the public about this month.

After all, a week after Kate Middleton and Prince William announced they were welcoming baby number three, we're holding out on some more joyous news from the Royal Family with regards to Prince Harry's rumoured proposal to Markle.

Despite having waited to make their first official appearance together, Meghan and Prince Harry have been spotted on numerous dates in London, attending several friends' weddings (including the likes of Pippa Middleton's nuptials in May), and kissing at the Polo earlier this year.

Their appearance will come weeks after the Californian beauty got candid about her relationship with the royal for the October issue of Vanity Fair.

For the first time ever, the Toronto-based star opened up about her love with Prince Harry to the publication and said:

We're two people who are really happy and in love. We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people's perception. Nothing about me changed. I'm still the same person that I am, and I've never defined myself by my relationship.

Let the engagement rumours commence!
