Days before Prince Harry took to the stage to open the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada, the fifth-in-line to the throne reportedly paid a visit to his girlfriend Meghan Markle's workplace: the set of the legal drama Suits.

According to Canada's HELLO! magazine, the 33-year-old prince made a low-key visit last Wednesday to cast and crew members on the show in a move to show support for his Californian girlfriend's career.

'He was super low key, met some crew and was so happy to watch his lady,' a source told the publication. Kensington Palace declined to comment on the visit.

The trip came four days before the American actress and her boyfriend made their first public appearance together at the Games, despite being sat separately.

On the night, the Prince walked out onto the stage and delivered a heartwarming speech to the Games' participants and families, with an introduction in French.

During the speech, he made a comical slip-up over the phrase, 'merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité', which received a giggle from Markle in the stands.

The Telegraph reports the actress was cared for my protection officers during the festivities and disappeared shortly before the end of the evening so she could leave with Harry discreetly.

Earlier this month, Markle returned to the set of Suits to resume filming for the next series, in which she plays paralegal Rachel Zane.

The question now is whether she'll be giving up her acting career for good ahead of a rumoured move to London to be with her royal beau.

Stay tuned.
