Days after Prince Harry made his first public appearance with girlfriend Meghan Markle at the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada, it appears the 33-year-old has made a new friend at a volleyball match - two-year-old Emily Henson.

Last night, the Prince sat alongside Emily, the daughter of his friend and former Invictus competitor and Paralympian David Henson, and his wife Hayley to watch the match.

However, during the action the two-year-old seemed to take advantage of her new royal pal and boldly grabbed a handful of his popcorn as he was looking the other way.

The little tyke almost got away with poaching the prince's popcorn until he caught her red handed, and teased her by jokingly taking away the box of popcorn before admitting defeat.

What makes this moment even more adorable (I know right, how could it?) the prince then began feeing the toddler pieces of popcorn, played with her toys, poked his tongue out, and pulled faces.

In response, Emily stuck out her bottom lip and leant on his knee to watch the match.

The #FriendshipGoals moment come days after the Prince answered a question about his 'girlfriend' for the rest time.

People reports former U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Kyle Burnett, who was competing in a cycling competition at the games earlier this week, asked Harry how Markle is enjoying the event and he reportedly replied: 'She loves it, she's loving the games.'

After seeing this heartwarming display of friendship, we can only imagine what the royal is like with his own niece and nephew, Prince George and Princess Charlotte at home.

In an interview with the Telegraph earlier this year, the Prince opened up about the possibilities of becoming a father.

'Of course, I'd love to have kids,' he gushed.

Well, with a third royal baby and niece/nephew on the way and a blossoming relationship with his Suits actress girlfriend, we think parenthood might be on the horizon sooner than we thought.
