Earlier this summer, Beyoncé gave birth to a healthy pair of twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, months after debuting her glorious bump in true Yoncé-diva-inspired fashion on Instagram.

However, since the pair's birth, we've barely heard a peep from the 36-year-old (nor her husband, rapper/producer Jay-Z), despite their regular appearances on red carpet events in recent weeks.

Fortunately, the singer's mother Tina Lawson has finally given the 'Beyhive' a little insight as to how the twins are doing and, from the sounds of things, they're just as adorable as you'd expect Beyoncé's offspring to be.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lawson and her husband Richard shared some heartwarming details about their growing family.

'They're doing great. They are absolutely beautiful and so much fun,' she gushed of her newborn grandchildren. 'I mean, I haven't ever been around twins, but it's so cute, I can hardly take it.'

The proud grandmother also gave fans some detail about the four-month-olds' development.

'It's crazy ... it's just really, really different with two babies. I mean, a boy and a girl,' she continued. 'They have very different personalities.'

Lawson's husband also gave a hint into how their granddaughter, Blue Ivy, is fairing with her new role as a big sister.

'It's making her grow up, it's bringing some maturity,' said the step-grandfather. 'She's only five, but you can see the transition in terms of her being a little more calm.'

Lawson's insight into the twins comes months after actor George Clooney revealed his twins, Ella and Alexander, were showing distinct character traits.

Speaking of his son, the 56-year-old described him as a 'moose'. 'Literally, he just sits and he eats,' he joked in an interview with ET.

Meanwhile, his daughter was described as 'very elegant, and all eyes. She looks like Amal, thank God'.

Anyone else praying for a Clooney-Amal and Carter twin friendships in the future?
