Meghan Markle has just finished filming Suits and flown to the UK to be with her boyfriend of over a year, Prince Harry, as news of a royal engagement is expected to be announced any day now.

The actress was reportedly spotted flying to London from Toronto (via Hello!) following claims that she and co-star Patrick J. Adams - who play on-screen couple Rachel Zane and Mike Ross in the hit legal show - won't be reprising their roles for the next series.

Markle has been travelling back and forth to from Toronto to London to stay with the 33-year-old royal at Kensington Palace, amid rumours that she could be about to move to the capital with Harry full-time.

The 36-year-old star was expected to attend Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian's lavish New Orleans wedding over the weekend, but was ultimately tied up with filming commitments.

It was while attending Wimbledon last year to support close friend Williams that Harry arranged a meeting with Markle through their mutual friend Markus Anderson.

And while it has yet to be confirmed that Markle is leaving Suits after seven seasons, her body-double Nicky Bursic recently posted a picture of herself standing next to the actress which she captioned with a heartfelt 'goodbye' message, suggesting the news of Markle's departure from the show is happening, and sooner than expected.

'It's been an absolute pleasure and honour being your 'STAND-IN' for the last 2 seasons @meghanmarkle,' Bursic captioned the post.

'Though I've been on @suits_usa for 6 years , the latter 2 has been my most memorable. Wishing you all the happiness in the world Bella.'

Harry and Meghan recently made their first public appearance as a couple at the recent Invictus Games, and appeared to break royal protocol by holding hands.

Here's to a royal engagement before the year ends...
