Melbourne-based Curds and Whey has imported an Italian blue cheese called Choco 21, and it sounds like a true dream for chocoholics. The cheese has been ripened in a chocolate liqueur, then covered with cocoa and decorated with chocolate chips, Mashable reports, and it's been a big hit with foodies Down Under.

As the brand's Instagram page confirmed, their first batch of Choco 21 has sold out.

"The customer reaction to the product had been very positive before the post went viral, we had been expecting it to be popular but were surprised at just how much of a conversation starter it has proved to be," Curds & Whey owner, Anna Burley, told the site.

There's no doubt this unique product deserves the hype, but how does it taste? According to Burley, it's not as sickly as it looks. A mild cheese has been used and the addition of chocolate liqueur prevents it from tasting too sweet.

So, is this food heaven? Or are cheese and chocolate simply too good as they are? For now, we're sticking with melted Camembert.
