Tiffany Haddish and Maya Rudolph pretty much stole the show at the Oscars during their hilariously scathing presenting skit, and viewers immediately called for the pair to host the event next year.
Or at the very least, to be cast in a remake of Thelma and Louise.
Haddish has now revealed she'd be up for presenting the Academy Awards, telling the audience at an event at the SXSW Film Festival (via Vulture): 'I would love to do something like that. I know my father would be extremely proud if I got to do that…'
She then joked: 'As long as I get a pay check. In my mind, Maya and I, we were auditioning for the ultimate job - because I thought were getting paid for that presentation.'
The Girls Trip actress continued: 'When I found out that we weren't getting paid, I was like, "Well, I heard about gift bags."
'And then it was like, "We don't have no gift bags," and I was like, "Well what do I get?"
'They were like,"We've got a bottle of wine that's like thirteen dollars'."
Well, we reckon she's officially passed the audition by now.
Taking to the stage at the Oscars earlier this month, the SNL star and Bridesmaids actress addressed the #OscarsSoWhite controversy of previous years.
The duo then quickly reassured the audience that there would be plenty of white people making appearances for the remainder of the night.
'So many! We just came from backstage and there are tons of them back there!' Haddish quipped.
'And not just movie stars - there are white people walking around with headsets, white people with clipboards,' Rudolph added.
'Now, I'm personally not a fan of white people with clipboards, because I'm always wondering what are they writing down about me.
'I'm like, "Hey, white dude with the clipboard, check all the pages".'
Over to you, the Academy. Perhaps Haddish could bring Brad Pitt as her plus one...
