You've heard of the innovative denim brand Re/Done: Rather than try to completely reinvent the wheel, the brand partners with time-honored, time-tested classic brands like Hanes, Champion, and Levi's to take what's great and make it even greater.
In this case—a five-piece capsule collection with the Cindy Crawford—there's no chance of outdoing the original. (There is only one Cindy.) Instead, the items work to convey the supermodel's inimitable effortlessness and laid-back ease through fashion.
Sparked last May over Instagram, the partnership happened after Crawford posted a TBT of herself in Levi's 501 jeans.
After all, if anyone stands for a certain core American aesthetic, it's Cindy, so Re/Done approached her soon after.
The collection, which officially launches in September, includes The Crawford, a hand-sewn, mid-rise straight leg jean in four different denims:
